Aeropoli Lakonias is one of the villages in beatiful Mani of Peloponnese. It is a historical place, which was independent from Turkish dominant in Ottoman era. In this village there was the first revolutionary actions and armed forces against turkish forces in Greek revolution. Now it is a small village with 888 residents and it is a nice place which worth the visit, you can enjoy it and relax. There are some important churches like Taxiarches, Agia Triada, Agia Kiriaki, Agios Petros, Agios Ioannis o Prodromos, Panagia Gergianiki, Agios Nikolaos, Panagia, Agios Charalampos and Agios Athanasios.
